We are about to enter an exciting new chapter with a ground-breaking tournament celebrating the release of Age of Mythology: Retold. Following in the footsteps of the original GENESIS event that captivated Age of Empires IV fans… This event promises epic battles and strategic depth as players from around the world battle for supremacy from 26th October to 17th November.
Elite Gaming Channel is proud to present GENESIS Retold, a $15,000 Age of Mythology tournament!
The tournament will feature eleven of the most-played Age of Mythology maps, with some well-known names including Anatolia, Alfheim or Midgard.
Firstly, the qualifiers will take place over two days with a maximum capacity of 256 players. Each day, eight players will qualify for the playoffs in a single elimination bracket divided into eight pools. The qualifying rounds promise to be fierce!
After that, the top sixteen players will then battle it out in a double elimination format over three weekends until the overall winner is crowned on 17 November. However, the first GENESIS was won by TheViper against TheMista, he managed to win with a 4-2 score after losing the first game. Will it be the same this time or will TheMista change the story? Who will be the winner of the GENESIS Retold? Stay tuned and follow the action live from the 26th October!
