Road to Wololo: Londinium

The Road to Wololo: Londinium is a series of qualifiers held over a six-week period. These qualifiers will determine the four players who will fly to Londinium to compete for the title of Grand Champion in the next Red Bull Wololo: Londinium tournament.

The total prize pool is $50,000, with $10,000 being allocated to the Road to Wololo: Londinium for players who did not qualify.

The invited players

The first players to join the Main Event Qualifiers were invited based on their Elo in the Age of Empires IV Tournament Esport Leaderboard.

As loueMT and Bee denied the invitation, LucifroN and DeMu replace them.

Format

Open Qualifiers

To begin with, the Open Qualifiers will be held over the course of two weekends. Four players will join the Main Event Qualifiers each weekend, for a total of sixteen players.
Additionally, players who fail to qualify can still participate in later weeks, as a spot will open when a new player qualifies for Red Bull Wololo: Londinium. The best players from the Open Qualifiers will advance to the Main Event Qualifiers, so don’t give up on a game!

The Rounds of 128, 64, and 32, are best of 3; the Rounds of 16 and the Qualifying Round are best of 5.

Main Event Qualifiers

Then the main event will qualify one player for the Red Bull Wololo tournament each weekend. Sixteen players will compete in two separate single-elimination brackets on Saturdays until two players remain in each bracket. On Sunday, the remaining four players will compete in the semifinals and finals to determine who will advance to the Red Bull Wololo.

A total prize pool of $10,000 is allocated for the Main Event Qualifiers.
