Launching on Saturday 23rd November with a $22,500 prize pool, WTC2 will unite the best teams from around the world in a fierce tournament packed with action, strategic depth, and new challenges.

What is Winter Team Championship II?

The Winter Team Championship II is the sequel to the acclaimed Winter Team Championship, where teams of three players compete in a gruelling multi-week tournament. With the return of fan-favourite players and some unexpected newcomers, this year’s competition promises to up the ante in every way.

Format: WTC2 will feature a GSL group stage following a single elimination bracket for the main event, with a total of 16 teams having the chance to qualify via the open qualifiers.

Key Storylines and Highlights

Legendary Rivalries Renewed: WTC2 will reignite some of the most legendary rivalries in Age of Empires IV history. Returning teams and new challengers will clash in classic match-ups and new strategies as teams try to outwit each other.

Strategic Innovations and New Rules: This year, WTC2 introduces a new set of rules to level the playing field, including snipes instead of bans. Players will have to think on their feet to adapt and come up with innovative strategies.
