Job Description
As a Part-Time Social Media and PR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media and public relations strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, increasing our brand awareness, and growing our online presence across various social media platforms as well as pitching our events to external news outlets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media and PR strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for our social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Increase our brand awareness and online presence by growing our followers and engagement rates
- Manage and monitor all social media accounts and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to develop new ideas and strategies
- Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on media mentions and analytics
- Analyze data and metrics to track the effectiveness of social media and PR campaigns
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media and PR Manager or similar role
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends
- Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design software
- Experience with media relations and knowledge of the media landscape
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Mother tongue level English
